What is a Uniswap V4 hook?+
A hook is a smart contract attached to a pool. Uniswap V4 calls it at set moments, such as before a swap or after liquidity is added, so the pool can follow custom rules: changing fees, tracking activity, restricting who can take part, and more.
Do I need to know Solidity?+
No. You describe the behaviour and SuperHooks writes and explains the contract. If you do read Solidity, the full source is always there to inspect and you can ask for changes line by line.
What do I need to get started?+
A browser wallet such as MetaMask, Rabby or Coinbase Wallet, and a little testnet ETH to pay for deploying the hook and creating the pool.
Are the hooks safe to use with real money?+
Treat every generated hook as unaudited code. Test it on a testnet, and have it reviewed by someone qualified before you put meaningful funds behind it on a mainnet.
Can I add liquidity from the chat?+
Not yet. Today SuperHooks writes hooks, deploys them, creates pools and reads their state. Once a pool is live you can add liquidity and swap through any Uniswap V4 interface.
